If you’ve read my post about HP’s Photosmart Premium with Web Touch, the world’s first printer to have its own applications, we now have Vizio announcing their high end XVT or Extreme Vizio Technology line of LCD HDTVs which have their own internet apps as well. Vizio has already confirmed the support of several content and service providers aside from Facebook and Twitter, such as eBay, Flickr, Netflix and Vudu.
Available in sizes ranging from 32 to 55-inches, the 2009 Vizio XVT TV line up will also include a robust Bluetooth remote control with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard that should make navigating the the wide array of Internet apps a breeze. Vizio has also managed to squeeze in 120hz and 240hz refresh technology as well as TruLED and Smart Dimming features to produce an even better picture.
You can order one at Amazon for $1899 (USD), or at Vizio’s online store for $2000.
