Minebea a Japanese company has unveiled a latest series of input device, named COOL LEAF. This latest device has no physical button like the typical input device like keyboard, calculator etc. This is said to be cool and water-resistant gizmo. The cool leaf is a low maintenance and easy to clean device. This film is actually an electrostatic capacity type touch panel containing force sensors beneath, plus a backlight which serves as the lower layer. When the device is switched off, the surface appears like a plain mirror.

Furthermore, it does not require power electricity to run, thus, you can save energy. Lastly, it has also a photo recovery toll software that features a quick and easy access to user interface that shows all of the thumbnail previews of the images that can be recover. It measures 88 X 54 X 10.6 mm in size and weighing about 40 grams.

Ever since Apple announced its latest device known as iPad, a number of manufacturers have released their own tablets as well. Today a new tablet was introduced in the market called iiView Vpad tablet. This new device features a 10.2 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, an Intel 945 chipset, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, three USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port, a 2-in-1 headphone and microphone jack, built in 802.11n WiFi, 10/100 mbps Ethernet, optional 3G and user can choose between 1GB or 2GB of RAM. The iiView Vpad tablet comes with Windows 7 Starter, and cost $499 for the 160GB, 1GB RAM model, and the high end model with 3G and a 320GB hard drive and 2GB of RAM for $699.

TwoNav has revealed its latest handheld GPS device known as Sportiva. This new device features a 3-inch touchscreen display, a 2GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and packs with IPX6 standards. This device is highly portable, capable of fitting into just about any backpack on your travels by measuring a mere 58mm × 105mm x 23mm, while tipping the scales at 124 grams.  It offers free download of maps covering Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Finland, Norway, Netherlands, Austria, Morocco, Sweden, Australia, Tunisia, and the USA as well as comes with a 3D compass, a barometer, and SiRF III GPS receiver.It has a 1,050mAh battery which is expected to last for several hours. This GPS device is expected to be available in the market by March 1 with a retail price of 379 €.

Samsung has unveiled its latest handheld device called Samsung Monte S5620. This new handset from Samsung is a basic touch phone that features a 3.2-megapixel camera and a 76mm (3-inch) display screen with TouchWiz 2.0 technology, 200 MB internal memory, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0HS, microSD card slot, HSDPA module, GPS receiver FM Radio with RDS, Wi-Fi and 3.5mm ear jack plus 1000mAh battery. This latest device also supports Facebook and MySpace apps, plus Twitter and Bebo widgets, and also capable with other instant messaging clients. The device is available in different colors orange/graphite color scheme, or black/silver. The Monte will be supported by a £2.5 million TV, online, press and outdoor advertising campaign. As of now, there is no word on pricing or release date for this new device.

Wacom has introduced its new tablet, but now its latest handheld device is already wireless unlike the previous one. Introducing the new Intuos4 Wireless graphic pen tablet, the first cord-free professional tablet ever produced that features a 9.4-inch pro-grade graphic and has a stylus with 2,048 levels of pressure and 60 degrees of tilt recognition. Intuos4 Wireless connects to Bluetooth-enabled computers (Macs or PCs) including some devices that have Bluetooth USB adapters. It conveniently charges through USB and continues to work while charging. Its Bluetooth technology allows you to work at distances of up to 10 meters from the computer.
