Sony has announced its latest technology, the Sony VAIO Tap 11 tablet. This tablet runs on windows 8 and is said to be the thinnest Windows 8 tablet PC in the world. It features 11.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS LED-backlit touchscreen display and powered by a 1.50GHz Intel Core i5-4210Y processor, an Intel HD Graphics 4200, a 4GB RAM, and a 128GB SSD. Aside from that it also has full keyboard, and comes with a stylus for drawing or note-taking. There’s no stylus slot on the Tap 11, but Sony supplies a clip that attaches to the tablet pc and acts as a pen holster. The company also includes an extra pen tip in the box. Other specs of the Sony Vaio Tap 11 includes a microSD card slot, dual cameras (HD front & 8MP rear), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 + HS, an HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port, and built-in stereo speakers. The VAIO Tap 11 (SVT11218DJB) will go on sale from November 16th for around 170,000 Yen (about $1,724).
