Nvidia GTX 780 Ti Announced GTX 770 Series Price Drops


Nvidia has unveiled its latest graphics card, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 ti. This new card will be launched on November 7 (US time) as part of Nvidia’s “The Way It’s Meant to be Played Holiday Bundle with Shield” promotion and will have a price tag of US$ 699. Aside from the launch date and pricing, specifications of the GeForce GTX 780 Ti has not yet released but considering its price it seems that this card will be a much stronger monster as with the previous models.

Over the past month, the red team has restructured its entire product line with huge price cuts and a new GPU launch. The R9 280X and R9 290X (at $300 and $550 respectively) blew Nvidia’s price-performance ratio out of the water, with the GTX 770 stuck at $400 and the GTX 780 at $650. An action was made by the green team, and last few days Nvidia had to cut the prices for their GPUs. Beginning immediately, the GTX 770 takes a price cut down to $330, the GTX 780 drops to $500. The card marks the final big announcement from the last two days of presentations, following the unveiling of new PhysX technologies, new game streaming technologies, a new game and Shield discount bundle and a new monitor technology.
