Smartphone maker K Touch has joined the octa-core price war by launching its latest technology called Nibiru Mars One H1. K Touch are quite a popular brand in smaller cities across China, but the company have aspirations of pulling in a larger, youthful crowd, so created the new Nibiru brand. According to its creators this is the cheapest octa-core Full HD smartphone in the world, priced at only 998 yuan which is $162 in usd. The Nibiru Mars One H1 device comes with 5-inch Full HD touchscreen display, octa-core 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 processor and 2GB RAM. Additional specs include 16GB of internal memory, 13-megapixel camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera with wide-angle lens. Nibiru phones also ship with their own custom Nibiru ROM based on Android 4.2.2. As for availability, this device is currently only available in China.
