CHIP $9 Micro-Computer Hits $1.6 Million Kickstarter Funding


The CHIP micro-computer by Next Thing which was announced early this month already passed the $1.6 million funding and still got 12 days before it will start into mass production. The CHIP is powered by a 1 GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB built-in storage. Other features of the CHIP mini computer include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and have the ability to use pre-loaded apps such as Scratch.
