The new Apple MacBook Pro MB470LL/A 15.4-Inch is a real techie laptop. It was redesigned 15.4-inch MacBook Pro laptop with a LED backlight display, aluminum “unibody” enclosure, NVIDIA’s switchable graphics solution, and a glass multi-touch trackpad. This laptop was equipped with a 2.4GHz model comes with a 256MB 9600M GT, while the 2.53GHz model ships with a 512MB version. Users can switch between the graphics chips without rebooting the system. However, switching video modes requires a change in System Preferences and a user logout.
Framed by a black bezel, the Apple MacBook Pro MB470LL/A 15.4-Inch LED-based display is bright, and colours appear rich and vivid. However, the reflective nature of the display will get to you, especially if you’re a photographer or creative professional who has to bring your laptop out for fieldwork.
Apple has removed the FireWire 400 port on the regular MacBook and its Pro incarnation (which still retains a FireWire 800 port). Although the change is a non-issue for people who make a switch over, it alienates the Mac faithful who has relied on the faster-than-USB port for external hard drives, troubleshooting Macs and digital video transfers.
