Amazon Kindle Fire 2 Latest News Update

Kindle Fire 2

Amazon’s newest Kindle Fire 2 has been reported to be released in almost 6 different variants. There will be a new 10-inch Kindle Fire to go along with the refreshed 7-inch version. Rumors said that Amazon will offer both seven and ten-inch Kindle Fire in different storage capacities i.e., 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. That would cover six SKUs.  Latest news is that Amazon is only going to offer an updated 7-inch Kindle Fire, but that there will be a 3G-capable version.

The original Amazon Kindle Fire released last year gathers a decent number of sales as a reader because the company’s tablet seems to be one of the best and cheapest E-reader in the market. As a matter of fact, it became the best selling Android Tablet of all times giving a healthy competition to Samsung Galaxy Tab. Right now it has also been believed that the latest Kindle Fire 2 is going to be a major competitor for the Apple’s iPad, and Google’s Nexus 7.  The next generation of Kindle Fire will feature a fast quad-core processor with a 500% performance increase than its predecessor and the latest version of Google Android OS.

Stay tuned for more updates about the upcoming Kindle from Amazon as I promise to keep this article updated whenever I’ve received new information.
