Dell has announced its newest addition to its Alienware family, the Alienware 13 laptop. This laptop seems to be the successor of the Alienware M11x that was discontinued 2 years ago. The Alienware 13 is the best alternative for gamers who are looking for a powerful laptop yet portable (most gaming laptops are thick).
It will be powered by Intel latest processor (Broadwell refresh), an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M GPU, up to 16GB of DDR3 memory and up to 2 SSDs. Alienware will be offering 3 display panel options for the user like an entry-level model getting a 1366 x 768 200 nits TN panel, second would be 1920 x 1080 resolution with IPS panel with double-wide viewing angles and the high-end spec will be QHD 2560 x 1440 touchscreen IPS panel.
In addition, it also features Killer 802.11ac wireless, ethernet, and USB 3.0, and there’s Klipsch audio and an Alienware TACTX keyboard. Pricing is still unknown but one thing for sure – it will be available this coming November.
