According to the latest tech news, YotaPhone 2 is already available in the U.S. and the creator of this unique phone is already announced its future plan of releasing the flagship successor, dubbed as YotaPhone 3 and a budget-friendly YotaPhone 2C, which is expected to be release 1st quarter of 2016.

For those of you who are not familiar with this particular smartphone, YotaPhone 2 is a device with two display, one 5-inch Full HD AMOLED in the front and a 4.7-inch ePaper or eInk display at the back. Eink became popular for being energy efficient as we all know that the tradional display used in premium smartphones are the one that actually drain the battery very fast, so it means that YotaPhone 2 with an Epaper display will last longer. Head on this link for the full specifications of YotaPhone 2 Review.

What’s new with the upcoming YotaPhone 3 include a much faster processor, more RAM power, clearer and improve HD display in the front and eInk screen at the back. The YotaPhone 3 is also expected to have a better and thinner design with better camera, similar to premium smartphones.

I have also read that the Russian company has signed an agreement with China’s ZTE Company to develop their new devices including the software and other services. For your information, ZTE is currently at the top 5 best-selling smartphone manufacturer worldwide, next to the popular brands such as Apple, Samsung, LG, and Nokia. So expect that their collaboration with this Chinese Tech Giant will be a huge success.

Yota’s projected output for the third generation of their dual-display smartphone would be around 100,000 units and it seems they are going to cost-cut with the production that’s why they asked for help with the Asian company, well that’s just my 2 cents as I know labor in the US and Europe is higher compared to Asia. That’s all for now and I’ll keep you posted once latest news has been announced.
