YotaPhone 2 is set for an official launch in the North America this coming April through crowdfunding website called Indiegogo. On my first blog post about YotaPhone 2 which was published December 2014, I’ve mentioned that the device will be released in the US and ASIA next year, and that is 2015. Now we have clear information that this dual screen display smartphone will be out this coming summer in US, but not yet in ASIA.
To give you an overview about YotaPhone 2, the device has a dual display with a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display in the front and a 4.7-inch E-paper display at the back. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor and it will be equipped with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Yota already claimed that YotaPhone 2 will be compatible with LTE on GSM carriers and they will offer early bird pricing for a limited time only. There are also rumors that Yota also has a white version of the device planned for “late summer” released. You can head directly to the YotaPhone 2 website and subscribe to be notified when preorder is already open.
