XYZprinting 3D Scanner with Intel’s RealSense 3D Camera Technology

XYZprinting has announced its latest handheld 3D scanner to be the ‘best valued 3D scanning solution to hit the market.’ This 3D scanner features Intel’s RealSense built-in 3D camera technology, supporting both 32-bit and 62 bit versions of Windows 8.1 operating system.

According to the company, the portable 3D scanner has ‘advanced depth sensing capabilities,’ with a maximum scan volume of 2m³ and a minimum scan volume of 10cm³ with an accuracy of 1mm. It can also scan a depth image size of 640 x 480 pixels with Full HD color image size. In terms of max image throughput this scanner offers up to 30fps.

This innovative 3D scanner works for all users of all levels and it will be available in spring of 2016 with a retail price of just $299.
