Lexar has just announced their latest technology called Echo MX and Echo ZX backup drives. Both back-up drives are equipped with a 128-bit AES encryption and no-touch backup software. The Echo MX has always-on capacity meter and has a speed of 28MB/s read and 10MB/s write on lower capacities and speeds up to 30MB/s read and 17MB/s write for the 128GB capacity. On the other hand the ZX which is designed to remain plugged into your system at all times, continually backing things up in the event in case of power failure or unexpected problems speeds up to 28MB/s read and 10MB/s write on the 8GB capacity drive, and up to 28MB/s read and 15MB/s write speeds on the 16GB and 32GB capacities. Expect that Lexar Echo MX will come out first certainly Q1 of 2011, while waiting for the Echo ZX which is scheduled in spring of 2011. Price for Echo MX is around $44.99 to $499.99 and $44.99 to $139.99 for the Echo ZX.

There is a latest technology in the U.S. called iTwin USB file sharing device. The iTwin allows two computers to share files over the internet. You just need to plug the other half of the iTwin into your computer and the other half to where would you like to send or receive a file.
