Viewsonic ViewPad 7X is the latest tablet that will be release in Japan next month. The tablet features a 7-inch display made up of Gorilla Glass with a resolution of 1024 x 600, Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb operating system, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and it is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor. The ViewPad 7X is one of the first 7 inch tablets to come with Honeycomb OS. Other specifications included are HSPA+ connectivity, Wi-Fi, HDMI, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, micro USB 2.0, micro SD card slot, GPS/A-GPS, front facing and rear camera, and a 100 mAh battery. The ViewSonic ViewPad 7x is priced at 49,800 Yen ($615) in Japan.
Acer has announced its latest android tablet called Iconia Tab A501 (3G), which is now available on Italian Market and on several online shops. The Iconia Tab A501 features 3G technology, a 1GHz Tegra 250 processor, a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, and a 5 megapixel camera. The tablet was also equipped with a 1 GB of ram, 16 Gigs of storage capacity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and is powered by a 3250mAh battery and runs Android 3.0 operating system. You can buy it on Eprice around $788 or 558 Euro or $705 or 499 Euro cheaper via Monclick online shops.
Acer has also entered the business of making tablets for techies and geeks and recently the company announced its Iconia Tab A500 with a docking station and a remote control included. The Acer Iconia Tab A500 has a 10.1 inch display with 1,280 x 800 resolution and it is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor that boosts the tablets HD recording capabilities and video playback with HDMI support for larger displays. While using this tablet you will have no problems with the controls even from a distance because of its remote control, you can just sit back and relax while watching. Also with its docking station designed which is propped at an angle, I’m sure you wouldn’t get a neck sprain though it’s advisable to use larger displays when you are watching from a distance.
The most long awaited Samsung Sliding PC 7 is now available for pre-order for a price of $649. This latest technology looks like a tablet and at the same time a laptop with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard. The Samsung Sliding PC 7 features a 10.1 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 32-64 Gigs of Solid State Drive storage and runs Windows 7 operating system. Other specifications included are 1.3 megapixels front webcam, 3.0 megapixels rear webcam, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, USB and HDMI ports, a 4-in-1 card reader, an ambient light sensor, a six-cell battery that claimed to last up to nine hours on a single charge, and an optional 3G and WiMax features.
Coby, an electronic company which specializes in low-cost gadgets such as MP3 players has announced their own Android Tablet called Coby Kyros MID7015. The Kyros MID7015 runs Android 2.1 and it’s powered by a TTC8902 processor. It has a 7-inch resistive touch screen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 4GB built-in memory that can be extended up to 32GB, and can record video in Full HD at1080p. Extra features of the Kyros MID7015 are Wi-Fi connectivity, USB 2.0, HDMI output and built-in speaker. This latest android tablet will be available shortly in the US for $250.
T-Mobile is set to launch Dell’s latest Android Tablet called Streak 7, which is expected to be released this Februaury 2nd in the USA. This latest technology is the first T-Mobile tablet with 4G network support. The Streak 7 features a 7-inch 800 x 480 Gorilla glass capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.3 megapixel front camera, a 5.0 megapixel rear camera with flash, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 1000 MHz processor and runs on Android 2.2 OS. Other specifications included are 16 GB or 32 GB of built-in memory, a microSD/SDHC card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. Dell Streak 7 costs $199.99 with a 2-year T-Mobile contract.
FCC has finally approved the Cydle M7 MultiPAD. This latest android 2.1 tablet has a 7-inch display (800 x 480 pixels), 8 GB storage, 256 MB of RAM, 800 MHz ARM11 processor, g-sensor, HDMI port, built-in speaker, microphone, headphone input and 1080p HD video output. The Cydle M7 MultiPAD comes with a detachable stand where in you can use when watching videos or surfing the net. The FCC had also published the user manual, some test results, and other information related to the tablet. There are some confusion on its battery because on the product page it says that the table has a 4000mAh battery, but on the manual it uses a 4500mAh battery. As of now there are no valuable information regarding its release date and pricing.
Cherrypal, a new tablet manufacturer has just revealed its latest android 2.1 tablet called CherryPad America. This new tablet has a 7-inch touchscreen display with 800×480 resolution with built-in gravity sensor. Other core specifications include 256 MB DDR2 memory, Wi-Fi, 2GB NAND flash memory, microSD card slot, USB port, 3.5mm jack, speakers, microphone, and a Polymer 3200 MAH battery that can last up to 6-8 hours. The CherryPad America is powered by a Samsung ARM11 800MHz processor and has a suggested retail price of $188.
