Motorola has unveiled its latest technology dubbed as Droid X handset. This new handheld device features an 8-megapixel camera with 4.3-inch touch screen display with a resolution of 854×480 pixel. Other core specifications of Droid X includes 1 Ghz TI OMAP3630 45nm processor, auto focus and dual LED flash on its 8 megapixel camera, Swype keyboard, 8 GB internal storage that can be extended via micro SD card, and has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. One of the latest technology of this handset is it’s built in Wi-Fi mobile hotspot function. Droid X is using Android 2.1, but it is said that it will be upgrade into 2.2 and will have Adobe flash player 10.1 updates. For all Motorola fans, expect this android smart phone this July 15th with a retail price of almost $200 with a 2 year contract included.

Sony Ericson has announced its latest android phone dubbed as Xperia X8. This latest technology features a 3-inch touch screen display with a resolution of 320 x 480. The X8 is powered by a 600 Mhz processor that will handle execution of applications easily. Other core specifications includes 3.2 megapixel camera, 2 GB SD card that can be extended up to 16 GB, GSM/GPRS/AGPS/EDGE/BlueTooth/Wi-Fi connectivity. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 will be released in 3rd quarter of 2010 with a retail price of $318. It is available in White, Dark Blue/White, Aqua Blue/White, Pink/White, Silver/White colors. The company also mentioned that other Xperia Android phones will receive Android 2.1 update in Q3.

Yesterday I’ve just posted one of Acer’s latest android phone the Ferrari-style Acer Liquid E, and today I’ll be posting one of their new technology again called Acer beTouch E130 smartphone.  This handset is also android phone but sad to say it’s not 2.1 rather utilizes 1.6 android OS.  Its features include 2.6 inch QVGA touchscreen display,  and a blackberry-style QWERTY keyboard. This Acer android phone is powered by a 416MHz ST-Ericsson CPU, 256MB of RAM, and 512MB of ROM. In terms of connectivity it can connect through 3G network if there’s no Wi-fi available. As of now there are no pricing information for this handset.

LG has introduced its latest QWERTY Smartphone called as Ally which runs with Android 2.1 OS.  LG’s latest QWERTY smartphone will be launching on May 20, 2010 and it has been said that the Ally has been featured in an Iron Man 2-themed TV commercial.  Aside from side to side QWERTY keypad Ally also features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, WiFi, Bluetooth, Google Map Navigation applications, and microSD expansion card slot. But apparently, this is the only information I can give you. There’s no information yet about the pricing and the availability of LG Ally QWERTY Smartphone.

LG has showcased its very first device that uses the Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone, named LG GM750. This handset features a WQVGA display with 5 Megapixel Autofocus camera and a front camera for two way video calling; sad to say it doesn’t have flash. Other key feature of this latest smartphone includes 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM configuration, supports an accelerometer and a microSD card slot. It also comes with an FM radio, GPS, HSDPA and quad-band GSM with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The LG GM750 has a dimension of  109.8 x 53.5 x 12.9 mm and costs $450 unlocked.

It has an internal storage capacity of 8GB or 16GB of internal and an extendable microSD card slot for more storage capacity. This latest Smartphone also features a five megapixel camera capable of HD (720p) video recording that supports AVI, FLV, and even MKV video formats. For its speed, this latest technology is powered by a 1GHz processor for better multitasking, browsing, as well as graphics and video handling.
