Samsung Galaxy Pro is the one of the latest Android 2.2 smartphone the company had announced. This smartphone features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with 320×240 pixels. It has a 3megapixel camera, 800 MHz processor with 512MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity. The Samsung Galaxy Pro is a QWERTY-equipped Android smartphone created for those who always tend to connect on social networking sites. You can stay for more hours and enjoy using Facebook and other sites, because the Samsung Pro uses a 1350 mAh battery which is quoted to lasts up to 11 hours talktime and 25 days standby time. Availability is on the 2^nd quarter of 2011.

HTC, a global leader designer of smartphones has announced their latest android 2.3 Gingerbread Smartphone dubbed as HTC ChaCha. This handset comes with a dedicated Facebook button for quick access to let the user update their status, share pictures and more with one click. The HTC ChaCha is powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor and has 2.6” touchscreen display with a dedicated physical QWERTY keyboard. Other core features included are 3.5 MM audio jack, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, VGA front camera,  microUSB port, 512 MB RAM, 512MB ROM, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n and GPS connectivity.

LG Optimus 2X is the world’s first Android 2.2 device that uses Tegra-2 dual-core processor, which is expected to be launched this 1^st quarter of 2011. This would also be the hottest and much awaited android handset early this year. The LG Optimus 2X has a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels and can be upgraded its OS to Android 2.3(Gingerbread). Other core features included are 8-megapixel rear camera with single LED flash, 1.3-megapixel front camera, full HD 1080p video recording, 8 GB built-in memory which can be extended to 32 GB with its microSD slot and 512MB of RAM. The LG Optimus 2X is also equipped with micro HDMI, 3.5 mm sockets, micro-USB, two speakers, 1500mAh battery, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and DLNA connectivity.

Acer has released some details on its newly launched Android Smartphone which has a huge 4.8 inch display in its latest Global Press Event held in New York City. This monster gadget has a resolution of 1024 x 480 pixels and it seems that this Acer Android device has the highest resolution, and according to Acer the display makes it “100% smartphone, 100% tablet”. Other leaked information regarding this latest technology includes 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 21:9 Aspect Ratio, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 8 megapixel camera with a built in flash and autofocus, HSDPA support, JavaScript optimization, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support, HDMI output, Dolby Mobile technology, and some handy mobile apps.

Nokia has announced its latest Symbian^3 smart phone called Nokia E7-00. This new handset features a four-row sliding QWERTY keyboard, 4-inch touchscreen with latest ClearBlack technology for improved outdoor visibility, and a powerful 8-megapixel camera. Other core features of this handset include 16GB internal memory, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI output, FM radio, Micro USB connector, dolby digital plus surround Sound and support for IBM Lotus Notes traveler and MS exchange ActiveSync. The Nokia E7-00 has a thickness of only 13.6mm and offers ultra long battery life of up to 18 days of standby time and up to 9 hours of talktime. The Nokia E7-00 will be released in Q4 2010 for about 495 Euros.

ARM has successfully launched its latest processor called Cortex A15 MPCore processor. This new technology has a clockspeed of up to 2.5 GHz and is said to be the successor of Cortex A9 that has a speed of 1GHz. For your information ARM-based chips are the one being using to give life to some handheld devices like smartphone, tablets and even televisions. The a15 was extended to octo core designs and is said to deliver 5 times faster results than the previous version. Other core features include up to 4MB L2 cache, multiple software environment support including full hardware virtualization, can handle TB of memory, and advanced memory correction. This latest ARM processor is compatible on most of the new handheld gadgets like Google’s Android, Adobe’s Flash, Linux and Windows.

LG Encore smartphone is now available in the market. This latest LG smartphone features a 3-inch touchscreen TFT display and it has a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. Other core features include 3 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, 32 MB internal storage which can be extended up to 16 GB using a micro SD card, GPS, and Bluetooth 2.1 EDR connectivity. It also supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900 MHz and has a 950 mAH lithium ion battery that can give your LG encore a 3 hours of talk time or 10 days of standby time. AT&T offers new LG Encore in USA for only $50 with two-year contract.

Nokia has confirmed the released of their latest technology called Nokia 5250 smartphone. This new handset features a 2.8-inch touchscreen with 360 x 640 resolutions, 2 megapixel camera, 51MB of internal memory can be extended up to 16GB using microSD memory card, and will come with Olvi Music Unlimited allowing you to download as long as your memory can hold it. This latest Nokia handset battery is said to last for 18 days on standby mode and seven hours of talk time or 1 whole day of playing music files.

Dell has launched its latest gadget called Dell Aero Smartphone. This new handset features a 3.5 inch screen with 640 x 360 pixel resolution, and a power five-megapixel camera with flash. The Dell Aero smartphone is powered by Android 1.5 and has 624MHz Marvell processor, Tri-band HSDPA (AT&T bands), ActiveSync capabilities for syncing with Outlook, WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity. This Aero handset has a price of $100 on a two-year agreement with AT&T, $300 without a contract.
