For the past few weeks, I’ve been busy on my job that’s why I can’t update my blog regularly and during my free time I visit some hardware review sites to choose what computer parts I will buy to build my future Ultimate Gaming Desktop PC. At the moment, I’m planning to build a Core i7 gaming pc and try to find out what’s the best cooling system and being ended up with  Corsair H100 which I will surely buy next month together with other parts. I did found a lot of good reviews with this liquid cooling system. It is much more efficient in terms of cooling rather the previous H80 model. The Hydro series includes pre-assembled, closed-loop CPU water-cooling kits that are relatively inexpensive compared to full-fledged custom-made loops. The good thing with this cooling system is maintenance-free and very easy to install. The only cons with this is that you can only install it on system case with dual 120mm fan support on top, because that’s the place where you will install this system because its radiator is twice the size of the radiator of the H80.

The Hydro H100 uses a large 240×120 mm area radiator that can hold two 120 mm fans on either sides, but comes with two fans. It seems like H100 has the same exact block unit as the H80, with its control knob. Corsair is utilizing a new micro channel cold plate design with a split flow manifold. The new low profile pump is supplied with a push button control feature with white led light that offer three different performance according to your preference.

The Corsair Hydro Series H100 extreme performance liquid CPU cooler is designed to deliver cooling performance that meets even the needs of an extreme overclocker. The H100 also uses high quality Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) tubing which will ensure longevity thanks to reduced evaporation rates. The H100 supports AM2 and AM3 processors without a custom backplate installation. All Intel platforms are supported including LGA775, LGA 1155, LGA 1156 and LGA 1366 and even the upcoming LGA 2011 socket. The Hydro Series H100 is available already even in the Philippines with a price of 5500-6000 pesos.

Acer has unveiled their latest technology called Aspire AS8943G Series. This powerful laptop features a magnificent 18.4-inch Full LED Backlit LCD screen, fastest processor Intel Core i7, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 1GB graphics card which is capable of running DirectX 11 games, 500GB SATA hard drive, Blu-Ray disc drive, and 4 GB of memory which can be extended up to 16 GB. Other core features of Aspire AS8943G includes trackpad printed with backlit icons as media controller, fingerprint reader, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, five speaker and sub setup, HDMI port, the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, eSATA port, the Gigabit Ethernet, as well as the Bluetooth connectivity. It also comes with Firewire ports as well. The new Acer Aspire AS8943G is thinner and has an aluminum-like case. that’s actually made of a “finished resin made to look like aluminum”, according to PC Magazine.

Nokia, one of the best known mobile phones manufacturers has unveiled their latest X series mobile known as Nokia X2 in India. This latest mobile phone offers a 2.2 inch QVGA screen and its dimension is 13mm thin and it weigh 81g so you can easily slipped into your pockets. It also features dual speakers, dedicated music keys, FM stereo, has a storage capacity of 16GB via microSD memory card, 3.5mm headphone jack, Ovi store, music management with Windows Media player 11 or Ovi player PC client, 2.2 inches of QVGA screen, expandable memory up to 16 GB, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP,and USB 2.0.

Aside from that this handset is not just a musical maestro but it also offers the users’ to access directly in Facebook from the homescreen and comes with good Nokia Messaging for email and Instant Messaging. Nokia X2 is expected to be out in the market before the end of June 2010 with an approximate retail price of Rs.5000.

Asus has launched its latest gaming laptop known as Asus G51J 3D Series. This new laptop has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 99,000 and has a global warranty for two years. The laptop has techie features including  the latest 3D technology through the use of special 3D glasses with a 15.6-inch LCD HD LED backlight 120Hz display that supports 1366×768 pixels and is capable of running Nvidia 3D Vision friendly games. It is equipped with the latest processor, a quad-core 1.6GHz Intel Core i7-720QM processor, a Blu-ray Combo optical drive, 2 megapixel built-in camera, and one Razer gaming mouse.

There are different model for this series, Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M discrete graphics with 1GB GDDR5 dedicated video memory in G51JX-1X110V model, while Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M discrete graphics with 1GB GDDR5 dedicated video memory in G51JX-1X110V model. This model also has 4GB DDR3 1066MHz memory and 360GB+360GB 7200RPM SATA storage. On the other hand, the G51JX-1X260V model comes equipped with GeForce GTX 360M discrete graphics with 1GB GDDR5 video memory, 8GB DDR3 1066MHz memory and 500GB storage.

Dutch graphics card seller Point of View has unleashed its latest graphics card, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 480 series based on the GF100 GPU. These new graphics cards are the GeForce GTX 470 and a GTX 480. The GeForce GTX 480 features 480 Cores, a 384-bit interface, 1536MB of GDDR5 VRAM, 60 Texture Units, GPU clock of 700 MHz, shader frequency of 1215 MHz and memory of3696 MHz. On the other hand, the GeForce GTX 470 features 448 CUDA Cores, a 320-bit memory interface, a GPU clock of 607 MHz, a shader frequency of 1215 MHz, and 1280MB of GDDR5 memory with a speed of 3348 MHz. Both cards include support for DirectX 11, CUDA, PhysX and 3-way SLI technology, include the 3D Vision Surround technology and provide dual-DVI and mini HDMI connectivity. Point of View’s GTX 470 and GTX 480 graphics card will be available in the next two weeks and cost around $349 and $499, respectively.

Minebea, a Japanese company has unveiled its latest keyboard known as COOL LEAF. This latest input device has no physical button like the typical input device like keyboard, calculator etc. This is said to be cool and water-resistant keyboard. The cool leaf is a low maintenance and easy to clean device. This film is actually an electrostatic capacity type touch panel containing force sensors beneath, plus a backlight which serves as the lower layer. When the keyboard is switched off, the surface appears like a plain mirror.

Sony has unleashed their latest technology, introducing the new Sony Vaio VPC-W11S1E/W series. This new laptop has a Genuine Microsoft Windows XP Home installed as its primary operating system, and features a 10.1 inch WXGA display screen with a resolution of 1366X768 and an aspect ratio of 16:9. This laptop has a 160 GB HDD, Memory Stick Slot, one SD Card Slot, USB Speed High/Full/Low, 2 USB Ports, one USB Connector Type A, VGA Connector for Monitor 1 and one Audio out.  In terms of graphics, it uses the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 to support all graphical applications. Lastly, The Sony Vaio VPC-W11S1E/W is powered by an Intel Atom Processor N280 with Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology which offers an intuitive working environment, handling multi applications and processes smoothly.

Nokia has unveiled its latest tech device, the N86 mobile phone. This latest technology has a display of 2.6 inch OLED scratch resistant with screen resolutions of 240 x 320 pixels, displaying up to 16 million colours. It has internal storage capacity of 8GB, and can be extended up to 16GB with a MicroSD memory card. Techie users of this handset will surely enjoy, because of its 8 mega-pixel camera, completed with a wide-angle Carl Zeiss lens, a dual LED flash and a fast shutter for reduced motion blur.
