Ordro has announced its latest technology called HDV-D350S, the newest camcorder of their company and also the first ever cam to have a detachable Pico Projector. It has a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display with a recording rate of 10880 HD at 60 fps. It has a 10 megapixel CMOS sensor and a 10x optical zoom. The HDV-D350S has USB , HDMI, 128MB internal memory and an SD/SDHC card slot that can supports up to 32GB. The removable Pico Projector offers a 15 lumens brightness WVGA Images at 854×480 up to 60-inches. The HDV-350S camcorder is now available at Ordro with a retail price of $549.95 with free US Shipping.

Chinavasion, one of the manufacturers of cheap projectors has released their latest digital projector phone dubbed as the Titanium CVQF-M111. Chinavasion claims that this phone is considered as the world’s first unlocked quadband phone because it has the compatibility function with all major GSM networks. Its looks like an LED pico projector and it includes  many features such as it has a digital camera, Bluetooth, analog TV and FM radio tuner, and dual SIM card slots. The Titanium CVQF-M111 also has a VGA (640 x 480) resolution and it can display up to a 31 inch display from 2 meters or about 6.5 feet away. The Titanium is now out in the market and you can purchase it through Chinavasion’s website and it cost $217 and it will be lessen if you buy them in bulk.

This device is built around a 0.45″ Texas Instruments SVGA DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) that supports a native resolution of 858×600. It uses a three LED light source and consumes 60 watts of power with a 1 watt standby. It outputs 100 ANSI lumens, with a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, automatic keystone correction, and a built-in 2-watt speaker. Its dimension is 136mm x 54mm x 120mm and weigh only 0.64kg, it will easily slip into your man bag, although the bulky power unit doesn’t fit into the case provided.
