Sony Ericsson has announced its latest technology known as Vivaz Pro, a QWERTY version for their Vivas series smartphones. This new handheld device from Sony, features a 3.2-inch touch screen display with 360 x 640 resolution, an 8.1-megapixel camera,  slide-out keyboard for speedier and comfortable messaging, a VGA output, face detection technology, image stabilization, geo-tagging, smile detection , 720p HD video, 3.5mm headphone jack, and easy upload to various social media services e.g Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

There’s also a webkit-based browser, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support and Wisepilot turn-by-turn navigation app. This latest handheld device measures 109 x 52 x 15 mm and has a microSD slot (with an 8GB card preloaded).  No word on pricing, but Sony Ericsson reckon the Vivaz pro will land in Q2 2010.

MvixUSA, a market leader in latest technology and products for high-definition entertainment, business signage solutions and networked accessible storage devices has announced today its new gadget called ULTIO Pro MX-880HD PVR. This new electronic gadget supports Full HD 1080p playback via HDMI, and can support different formats including H.264, MKV, DivX HD, MPEG 2-TS, VC-1 and WMV formats. It has ethernet, two USB hosts, USB 2.0, multi-format memory card slot, IR remote, composite and coaxial digital audio, and has an integrated 3.5-inch hard-drive bay that can handle up to 2TB disks. The MvixUSA Ultio Pro MX-800HD with no HDD will be available for $169, while the 2TB HDD model will be available for $348. Both products are now on pre-order and ship dates have not yet been announced.

DXG has unveiled its latest gadget, the new DXG-A80V Pro Gear Camcorder. This latest line of ultra-compact camcorder features a 3-inch LCD touchscreen display, with a powerful 5x optical zoom lens. Framed by a black bezel, the Apple MacBook Pro MB470LL/A 15.4-Inch LED-based display is bright, and colours appear rich and vivid.
