Greenhouse has released its latest portable DVD player in Japan, named Gaudi G HV-PDV900K. This latest technology features a rotatable 9-inch 640 x 234 LCD resolution (up to 180 degrees). It also includes built-in speakers (1W x 2ch), memory card reader, a USB 2.0 port and a built-in battery that can last up to 3 hours and 20 minutes of video playback. In addition, this gadget also supports WMA and JPEG multimedia file formats and can playback DVD-Video, MPEG-1/2, MP3, DVD-R/RW, Audio CD and CD-R/RW discs. The Gaudi GHV-PDV900K is now available in Japanese market for a retail price of 14,800 Yen (about $162).

SKNET of Japan has unveiled a new device dubbed as SKNET Portable CD/DVD Burner. This burner allows you to burn just about any compact disc (as long as they do not have copy protection) or any DVD without the need for a computer.  Because this  device is a standalone burner so user just need to insert the original disc, copy its contents to the buffer, remove the disc and insert a corresponding blank disc. The SKNET Portable CD/DVD burner will be expected to be released by next month. Hopefully it will also be available internationally.

The Leyio is a portable gadget that has a storage capacity of 16GB that stores your data securely and lets you share your files wirelessly to other Leyio owners. Leyio own point of view with this gadget is to used for sharing Facebook information, swapping digital entertainment or exchanging business cards. This latest gadget uses a short-range 5GHz Ultra Wide-Band (UWB) signal with a maximum transfer rate of 10Mbit/s, and has a detachable 2GB USB drive and a USB interface for connection to a PC. Leyio also features a 1.5inch LCD display, a free scale arm EJS 320MHz processor, a digital fingerprint sensor technology, vibrate function, 3 axis accelerometer and a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. Unfortunately, no word yet on pricing or availability.

Bluedot has announced its latest portable DVD player, the BDP-1475. This latest device has a display of 4.7 inch with a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. It is available in different colors including Pink, Yellow and White. This portable DVD players weigh just 510g and can last up to 4.7hours of continuous play on battery.   The BDP-1475 Portable DVD Player can support AVCREC, MPEG-4, AVC/H.264, and can also playback Audio and MP3 CD’s. This latest portable player cost $180.

Emerge Technologies has rolled out its latest portable notebook charger known as the 90W. This latest device comes with a couple of retractable cords (up to 9.5 feet long) as well as an equal number of USB 2.0 ports to keep at least two or more USB-powered gadgets while your notebook is experiencing a similar treatment.
