AT&T has just announced its upcoming HTC Inspire 4G, the first smartphone to use the new version of HTC’s Sense and first AT&T Android phone with Mobile Hotspot support. The HTC Inspire 4G runs Android 2.2 Froyo and has a 4.3-inch LCD display (480×800 resolution), 8 megapixel rear camera with recording capabilities of HD video in 720p, and a front-facing camera for video chatting. The HTC Inspire is also equipped with 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU, 4 GB of storage, and a microSD card slot that can handle up to 32 GB. The HTC Inspire 4G will be available this 13^th of Februaury 2011 from AT&T and it’ll cost $99 with a two year contract.

Mikhail Stawsky has designed a latest mobile technology which is really unique called Rotel Mechanical Mobile. It does not use solar energy; rather it uses kinetic energy to be recharge. It has a hole in the lower portion of the handset, wherein you can insert your finger and you just need to spin the mobile phone or you can use any kind of objects and it will be recharge. The Rotel Mechanical Mobile has a touchscreen display and has clock on the edge so you don’t need to pull the whole phone in your pocket.

Nokia has announced 3 new handsets at Nokia World 2010 in London. The handsets announced are the E7, C7 and C6-01. The Nokia E7 has a 4-inch touchscreen display, 8-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 4 row QWERTY keyboard. The E7 can last up to nine hours of talk time and it comes in different colors:  dark gray, silver white and orange. Next is C7. It has a 3.5-inch AMOLED display, 8-megapixel camera, 9.5 hours of talk time and has integrated social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. This handset is best for business owners who use social networking to promote their products and services. Lastly, the C6-01 which is a variant of the C6 featuring a 3.2-inch AMOLED display with Clear Black display for improved outdoor visibility and now with 11.5 hours talk time. All handsets has an 8Megapixel Camera, runs on Symbian^3 Operating System and capable of recording 720p HD video.

LG has announced its very first dual core processor for smartphones dubbed as Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor. This latest technology boasts a clock speed of 1GHz and is said to line up in the LG Optimus series. With this processor, mobile users can experience up to 2x faster web browsing, 5x faster gaming performance, and will deliver 1080p HD video playback, thanks to NVIDIA’s technology. We could expect the release of LG’s Optimus Series smartphones featuring the NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor in the fourth quarter of the year.

LG Encore smartphone is now available in the market. This latest LG smartphone features a 3-inch touchscreen TFT display and it has a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. Other core features include 3 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, 32 MB internal storage which can be extended up to 16 GB using a micro SD card, GPS, and Bluetooth 2.1 EDR connectivity. It also supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900 MHz and has a 950 mAH lithium ion battery that can give your LG encore a 3 hours of talk time or 10 days of standby time. AT&T offers new LG Encore in USA for only $50 with two-year contract.

U.S. Cellular said that they will be releasing their latest gadget called BlackBerry Bold 9650 this August 18, 2010. This blackberry mobile features a 2.4-inch display with 480 x 360 resolutions and a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus. Other features include full QWERTY keyboard, 512MB ram, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity, 3.5mm jack, visual trackpad, GSM/HSDPA, BlackBerry OS 6 ready and EV-DO. The Bold 9650 has an estimated price of $230 with a 2-year contract and a $70 mail-in rebate.

Nokia has announced its latest handheld device called Nokia X5-01. This handset features a 2.36” display with 320 x 240 QVGA resolutions. This QWERTY keyboard phone also has four directional navigation buttons. The X5-01 has also the capabilities to tap social networking not only texting and the common usage of mobile phones. The phone itself looks big but actually it only has a dimension of 74.3 x 66.44 x 16.85 mm. It is also looks like that this latest technology main target is the  teens who loves social networking like facebook, listening to music and watching videos in the net.

While browsing the net early this morning, I’ve found this nokia’s latest concept of mobile called Nokia Kinetic. Jeremy Innes-Hopkins is the creative designer of this latest technology, the said concept is that when the phone receives a call or a message, there will be an electromagnet force in the base of the phones and the weight will be transferred causing the device to stand up. To dismiss a call, the user can simply give the phone a gentle tap, causing it to fall back down again and return to standby mode. As of now there are no confirmations whether the design will come true, but this concept was really cool isn’t?
