Century has just unveiled its latest external HDD enclosure with a very cool LCD display. The CWRS2LCD-BK external drive is equipped with cooling fans and heat sensors that will show relevant information right on the front of the case.  This latest HDD technology is measured at 149mm x 185mm x 42mm and weighing 700 grams (without a hard drive). It also allows hot-swapping hard drives by simply opening the front panel. The Century CWRS2LCD-BK will be released in early November 2010, but apparently no word yet on pricing.

Yesterday I’ve just posted Dell’s latest LCD monitor, now Samsung has also launched their own LCD screen dubbed as Samsung Syncmaster P2770H. It can work as TV and at the same time a  PC monitor. It features a 27-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, 5ms response time, 300cd/㎡ rated brightness, Horizontal/Vertical Viewing Angle of 170˚ / 160˚ (CR > 10) . Other features include dual VGA and DVI input, an optical audio output, a jack to receive sound from your PC sound card. The Samsung Syncmaster P2770H LCD monitor has an approximate price of US$460.

Good news for Audio/Video Editors and Graphics Designers because Dell has announced a new 30-inch LCD monitor with an IPS panel called U3011. This latest monitor has a resolution of 2560 x 1600,  a contrast ratio of 1000:1, 0.2505mm pixel pitch, a 7ms refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors and a 370 cd/m2 rated brightness. The U3011 LCD monitor stand is height, tilt, and swivel adjustable. It also has several ports including 4 port USB hub, DVI-D, Single Display port, VGA input, and a memory card reader. Estimated price for this Dell U3011 30-inch LCD monitor is $1500.

NEC has launched its latest technology named as NEC E461 and E551. This cool LCD has a good performance than other monitors, it has 46-inch E461 and 55-inch E551 both feature 1920x1080p Full HD, and up to 5000:1 typical contrast ratio. It may contains 210W and fully connectivity, in terms of 4 HDMI inputs, analog RGB, composite video and S-Video.

Other features include multiple picture modes, features advanced video and a 120Hz refresh rate, built-in ATSC/NTSC/QAM analog/digital tuner, built-in closed captioning and integrated CONEQ Sound technology. It is have a swivel stand, its detachable for wall amount applications. The NEC E461 and E551 LCD is available with a retail price of $999 and $1,499 respectively, and will be released in the month of August.

Dell has unleashed their latest technology, but this time a 21.5 inch multi-touch LCD monitor called Dell SX2210T. What’s good with this Multi-Touch LCD Monitor is it has a webcam that you can use for chatting and other video conferencing stuff. If you’re using Windows 7 Home Premium & above with its multi-touch capabilities, the Dell SX2210T monitor features full HD 1920 x 1080 experience with 16:9 widescreen display. Aside from that the Dell SX2210T multi-touch monitor has a 220 cd/m2 brightness, dual microphones for video chat, and the capability to to flick, tap, drag, and scroll with your fingers using its multi-touch technology. Cool isn’t?

HP has announced their latest affordable LCD monitors which are expected to be released and sold to the market in late May 2010. These are the S2031, S2231 and S2331 series. These brand new model of monitors have a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a resolution of 1600 × 900px, 250 nits of brightness levels and has a response time of 5 ms. Only S2031 model supports 1080p and 300 nits of brightness levels. For the price, the S2031 costs $150, whereas for S2231 has a price of $190, while the S2331 has a selling price of $220.

BenQ has just released its latest LCD monitor in the Japanese market, dubbed as BenQ G2222HD. This monitor has a 21.5-inch LED-backlight screen display with a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It has dynamic contrast ratio of 40,000:1, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and provides both D-Sub and DVI-D ports. This LCD monitor also features Senseve + Photo technology.

Panasonic has unveiled its first touch screen processed camera, named Lumix DMC-G2. This latest gadget features a 12.1MP Live MOS sensor and shoots 720p video in AVCHD lite, activated by a video record button. This touch screen camera  is at 3-inch LCD screen with 460,000 pixels and a wide-viewing angle that can revolved up to 180 degrees from side to side and tilts 270 degrees up and down. It support SD, SDHC, SDXC cards and there is HDMI output.

Hitachi has released its Latest LCD TVs technology, the new L22-HP05 and L26-HP05. Added in their Wooo series, this new LCD TVs has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a 250GB of HDD for   the high quality recording of your favorite TV programs, two BS/110 degree CS digital TV tuners, DLNA support and 170 degree viewing angle, 400/300cd/m2 brightness. Furthermore, it is equipped with XCodeHD technology, for you to be able to watch TV programs in MPEG-4AVC H.264 format. It also includes three HDMI ports and Ethernet port. Lastly, they also come with two 10-Watt stereo speakers. This latest technology will soon available in Japan starting on March 3 for 110,000 Yen (about $1,220) the former and 130,000 Yen (about $1,442) the latter.
