ASUS has announced its latest Optimus-Enabled laptop known as ASUS U30Jc. Do you have any idea what’s this Optimis thingy is? This feature will help the laptop perform at its peak in terms of graphical + processing rate of the CPU and the good thing about this technology is that the battery life of your laptop will still remain. I know you’ve read other topics about the usage in a laptop, while playing games or doing some multimedia stuff the battery life will become shorter because there are too many activities in that hardware part both graphics and processor. So this thing doesn’t apply to ASUS U30Jc due to Optimus-Enabled technology.

For all the techies and geeks out there, a new concept of laptop was announced by designer Yang Yongchang, the iWEB 2.0. This concept of laptop is really cool because it has a folding keyboard design which is really BIG. According to the author, the 6.5-inch laptop has multi-point touch and gravity sensing technology and can be equipped with full-size keyboard, if you fold it in thirds.

Asus has launched its latest gaming laptop known as Asus G51J 3D Series. This new laptop has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 99,000 and has a global warranty for two years. The laptop has techie features including  the latest 3D technology through the use of special 3D glasses with a 15.6-inch LCD HD LED backlight 120Hz display that supports 1366×768 pixels and is capable of running Nvidia 3D Vision friendly games. It is equipped with the latest processor, a quad-core 1.6GHz Intel Core i7-720QM processor, a Blu-ray Combo optical drive, 2 megapixel built-in camera, and one Razer gaming mouse.

MSI has introduced its new technology, the new GE700 gaming laptop. This latest technology features a 17.3-inch LCD with an undetermined resolution powered by an ATI Radeon HD5730, designed with an Intel Core i5 chip. In addition, it has built with a nine cell battery making it to operate long hours, and it has also a notable slots for dual hard disks of up to 500GB each bay. Accordingly, multimedia speaking this 3.2kg machine sneaks in a 720p HD webcam. Furthermore, it has a discrete graphics card (with 1GB DDR3 VRAM), two cinema-class speakers and a subwoofer, a 720p HD webcam, and dual hard disk architecture, so you can install two hard drives for maximum memory storage. Lastly, it has superior multimedia, entertainment, and processing capabilities to maximize your gaming experience. Sadly, they did not yet release the price for this latest technology.

Dell has finally revealed its latest technology, the new Alienware m11x. This latest gaming laptop is the world’s first and only 11.6″ gaming laptop with a dedicated NVIDIA 1GB graphics card, and powered by an Intel Dual-Core processor. Its processor has a speed of 1.3GHz and features additional specifications like 2GB DDR3 memory which can be upgraded up to 8GB, a 160GB Hard Drive that can be extended up to 500GB 7200RPM Hard Drive or 256GB SSD, a 11.6-inch 720p wide LED screen, a built-in 1.3MP webcam, and runs under Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. This advanced gaming technology is now available for a starting price of $799 + $1.95 shipping.

Sony has unleashed their latest technology, introducing the new Sony Vaio VPC-W11S1E/W series. This new laptop has a Genuine Microsoft Windows XP Home installed as its primary operating system, and features a 10.1 inch WXGA display screen with a resolution of 1366X768 and an aspect ratio of 16:9. This laptop has a 160 GB HDD, Memory Stick Slot, one SD Card Slot, USB Speed High/Full/Low, 2 USB Ports, one USB Connector Type A, VGA Connector for Monitor 1 and one Audio out.  In terms of graphics, it uses the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 to support all graphical applications. This laptop is the latest addition to its line of ASUS Business Notebook, but this one runs under Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) Operating System. Origin has unleashed its latest technology, the new Eon18 gaming notebook. This notebook is powered by a Core 2 Extreme processor QX9300 clocked at 2.53GHz, airbrush job on the lid, a dual Nvidia GTX 280m graphics chip and dual solid-state drives. It has a dimension of 17.3 x 11.8 x 1.7 inches and only weighs at 12.5 pounds. When tested on gaming benchmark, Eon18 has similar performance with Alienware’s M17x gaming laptop which has a price higher of $2,000 than the Eon18 gaming notebook which has a retail price of $5,952.

MiNEW has rolled out its latest technology, the new MiNEW N20U Netbook. This latest netbook has already been launced in Korea. This latest technology features a 10.1 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 576 pixels. It is powered by Intel Atom1.6GHz processor with a storage capacity of 16GB or a 32GB of SSD, and 1 Gigs of memory. Aside from that it also has an integrated WIFI. The MiNEW N20U Netbook has a dimension of  245.5×165x197mm  and weigh just 950g. The price of this latest technology, is not yet announced.
