Nikon Coolpix S-Series Digital Cameras

Nikon has announced its latest addition to their collection of digital camera called Nikon Coolpix S-Series. The Nikon Coolpix S-Series digital cameras sports a Clear Color LCD technology and can capture High Definition video. It also features backside illumination CMOS sensors for beautiful photos of even dark scenes, 18X zoom NIKKOR lens and a convenient touch panel monitor. Clear Color LCD is a technology that drastically reduces power consumption while giving you a comfortable view even there’s a strong sunlight.

The new Nikon Coolpix S Series models are S9100, S3100 S4100, S2500 and S6100. The S9100 features a 12 megapixel sensor and has 18x NIKKOR wide-angle lens (25-450mm) and easy panorama 360 degrees. The Coolpix S3100 on the other hand features a 2.7-inch LCD screen, 14 megapixel sensor, and 5x optical zoom. The COOLPIX S4000 incorporates a new 3.0-inch 460,000-dot touch-panel, and features Scene Auto Selector. The S2500 is limited to 20mm thick, 2.7 inch LCD monitor, 12-megapixel sensor, and a 4x zoom. Lastly, the Coolpix S6100 has a 3-inch touch screen, 7x wide-angle zoom lens, 16 megapixel sensor.

Panasonic has announced its latest digital camera called Lumix DMC-GF2. This camera features a 12.1 megapixel Live MOS sensor, a 3-inch touch panel, contrast AF system, and the ability to record video at 1920 x 1080/60i or 1280 x 720/60p in AVCHD and has an internal dust reduction feature. Panasonic DMC-GF2 is said to have the world’s smallest and lightest interchangable lens system camera and it adds to the range of Micro Four Thirds cameras on the market today. The GF2 will ship in January which is available in different colors: black, silver, red, white and pink. Rumors said that pricing will be announced this coming December and expect to see the GF2 hitting stores early in 2011.

Fujifilm FinePix REAL 3D W3 Digital Camera

Fujifilm has once again announced a new digital camera dubbed as FinePix REAL 3D W3, which the company claims as the world’s first 3D digital that can record superb quality in 3D. This latest gadget features a 3.5-inch Autostereoscopic 3D widescreen LCD display, horizontal lens cover doubling as on/off switch, mini HDMI 1.4 port for easy playback on a large 3D-capable TV, and twin 10 Megapixel CCD image sensors and dual FUJINON 3x optical zoom lenses. Thanks to its much refined features such as Real Photo Processor that allows it to capture higher resolution 3D photos and movies in 3D HD at 720p. Fujifilm FinePix REAL 3D W3 digital camera dimensions are 124 (W) x 65.9 (H) x 27.8 (D) mm and weighs just 230 grams and it’s expected to be available by early September 2010 for about $500.

Samsung ST80 Digital Camera

Samsung has launched its latest gadget called Samsung Digital Camera ST80. It has a 14.2 megapixels camera and also supports a Wi-Fi to send images via email. This digicam has a DNLA connect to easy send your pictures and videos, and direct upload to some media sharing networks like Facebook, Youtube, Photo Bucket, and Picasa without using P.C.

The Samsung ST80 digital camera has Smart Auto (Still & Movie) technology, that can automatically change the settings defending to its environment. The other features was 3x optical zoom, a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, and its 720p 30fps H.264 video recording. The camera has HDMI and USB 2.0 ports which can also be used for charging. The measures of this gadgets was 92×55.4×18.5mm. This Samsung ST80 digicam has a suggested retail price of $249.99 and it’s expected this coming September 2010.

Olympus X-560WP and T100 Digital Cameras

Olympus has just announced its two latest digital camera models dubbed as X-560WP and T100. The X560 WP features a 10-megapixel camera and the camera itself is waterproof and can be submerge in 10 meter dept of water without any problems. It has a 3x optical zoom with Advanced Face Detection technology so it can track 16 faces at the time. It is said that the X560 WP can capture clear and sharp images with its high ISO which comes in 18 shooting modes.

On the other hand the T100 features a 12 megapixel sensor with the same optical zoom but now it has a auto focus function for easy capture of moving objects. The T100 has 21 shooting modes compare to the 18 of the X560 WP and has face detection that can detect up to 12 faces on a photo. The X560 WP is said to have a price of around $160 while the T100 has no price information yet.

Sigma UK has announced its latest digital SLR camera dubbed as SD15 SLR Digital Camera. This camera is expected to be released this June 2010. The camera features a 3 inch LCD display and a powerful 14 megapixel Foveon X3 direct image sensor technology that can capture all primary RGB colors. This camera’s sensor works by combining three 4.7 megapixel layers that individually capture red, green and blue light hitting it. The Sigma SD15 Digital Camera will costs around $1,443.
