Acer has announced its latest aspire series laptop which is powered by Intel Core-i7 processor dubbed as ACER Aspire Ethos 8943G. This laptop features a 16 GB DDR3 memory, 2 hard disk drives including 1.2TB and 640GB, ATI radeon 5850, and a large display of 18.4” super-TFT with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels. The Ethos 8943G Acer laptop has a unique brushed-metal lid design and has a contrasting palm rest and black touchpad . Other features include 5 USB ports, Wi-Fi, Firewire, Blu-Ray Drive and weighs 4KG. This Acer series runs Windows 7 home premium and has an estimated price of £2,000.

Acer has announced its latest technology called as Acer Aspire One D255. This powerful netbook is equipped with Intel Atom N550 1.5 GHz processor, But this Atom processor supports hyper threading technology in which windows will notify you that you’re using 4 processors. So in short it will give you a quick boost performing all the tasks that are pending. The Aspire One D255 has a 10.1 inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024 x 699, a ram of 1 GB DDR2, 250 GB of HDD, and Intel GMA 31509 integrated graphics card. Other feature includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. This netbook is said to used a six cell battery, but there are no details on how long this netbook can be use. There are no details on pricing and release date as of now.

This powerful laptop features a magnificent 18.4-inch Full LED Backlit LCD screen, fastest processor Intel Core i7, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 1GB graphics card which is capable of running DirectX 11 games, 500GB SATA hard drive, Blu-Ray disc drive, and 4 GB of memory which can be extended up to 16 GB. Other core features of Aspire AS8943G includes trackpad printed with backlit icons as media controller, fingerprint reader, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, five speaker and sub setup, HDMI port, the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, eSATA port, the Gigabit Ethernet, as well as the Bluetooth connectivity. Acer has unveiled its latest slim desktop computers for this year 2010 called Aspire X5950 and X3950. These desktops have a slim tower casing with a brushed-metal color for the X5950 and a glossy black finish for the X3950. They are powered by either latest processor the Core i3 or Core i7, packed with Intel HD graphics card, 8 Gigs of Memory, and up to 2 TB of hard disk drive. The Aspire X5950 and X3950 uses an Intel H57 Motherboard with PCI-E x16 slot, a DVD or Blu-ray Drive, a Gigabit Ethernet, and a multi-in-one card reader, an HDMI port and are pre-loaded with the Arcade Deluxe 4.0 software. There are no word on pricing for these Acer desktop computers.

Acer 4935G-743g32mn is a new high end laptop having a dimensions of 342(W) by 239(D) by 23/38.6(H) millimetres, weighing about 2.4kg.The notebook equipped with an Intel Core2 Duo 2.4GHz 8600 CPU, 4GB DDR2 RAM, and a 500GB hard disk is more than enough to handle your daily tasks, even if you’re an animator. It boots up Windows Vista Home Premium in about one minute and 14 seconds.

On the graphics side, with an nVidia 512MB GeForce 9300M GS, the unit manages to obtain a score of 5,342 from 3D Mark 03, and 870 from 3D Mark 06 – both also running at default settings. Basically this laptop is also created for gamers, but aside from gaming Acer Aspire 4935G is also designed as a multi-media entertainment. Just look around its body and you would see phrases like “Superior HD Image Quality for video chatting,” “16:9 True Cinematic View,” “Full HD 1080 Playback” and “True 5.1 output.”

The six-cell, 4,400mAh battery lasts 2 hours and 21 minutes playing back a long MP3 file non-stop. Acer says it should last 3 hours in stand-by mode. If this is not enough for you on the go, you have two choices: 1) make do with Acer QuicCharge technology (80% charge in one hour, two-hour rapid charge system-off, three-hour charge-in-use), or 2) acquire extra batteries of the same rating. No nine-cell battery is available for this machine.As a part of the test, after a couple of hours running, results turns out that Aspire 4935G have great heat dissipation capabilities.
