Grandpa Technology Ltd. has announced its latest concept technology in a form of a solar-powered bracelet called SolarHug. This bracelet is a battery backup for your smartphone and at the same time can be use as USB drive that can allow up to 128GB of storage space. To juice up your device, you just need to connect your device to the bracelet via its built-in cable and voilà.
SolarHug is made of aluminum and currently available in three different colors: natural, elegant and luxury. It is covered with flexible solar panel and because of its elegant design, it can be use as a high-tech fashion accessory.
The SolarHug Bracelet project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website and the team is chasing the £70,000 funding goal to make the jump from concept to production.
