Sapphire-R9-290x-Battlefield

Sapphire has officially launched its newest addition to its AMD Radeon R9 series, the R9 290X Battlefield 4 version graphics card. Based on AMD’s new 28nm Hawaii XT GPU, this graphics card features 4GB of memory clocked at 800MHz for the GPU base, 1000MHz for the GPU boost clocks while 4GB of GDDR5 memory is clocked at 1250MHz (5.0GHz effective). It also features 2816 stream processors, 176 texture memory units, 64 ROPs,  a 512-bit memory interface and support for DirectX 11.2, OpenGL 4.3, Mantle and AMD TrueAudio. Custom versions of the R9 290X should be ready by end of November.
