ASK Inc. Japan is set to release Sapphire’s latest graphics card, the R9 290x 4G GDDR5 TRI-X OC. The Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X features a 2816 stream processing units, powered by a 28nm GPU with a core clock of 1040 Mhz. The card is also equipped with 4GB of the latest high performance GDDR5 memory on a 512-bit interface and clocked at 1300 MHz (5.2GHz effective). The card also employs Sapphire’s original Tri-X cooling solution and has dual-link DVI, D-Sub, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. Maximum of 4 monitors can be connected to this graphics card.
