OCZ Technology has unveiled its newest technology called Vertex 460 Solid state drive. Yesterday I’ve just featured one of the latest SSDs from Mushkin, the ProSpec Enterprise SSD. The new Vertex OCZ 460 SSD is going to be available ranging from 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities. These 2.5-inch SSDs are equipped with Toshiba’s 19mm MLC NAND Flash memory chips, and feature a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a Barefoot 3 M10 controller. OCZ has rated the read and write performance of the Vertex 460 as high as 550MB/s. The Vertex 460 SSDs are currently being showcased at this year’s CES, and is expected to be available later in January of 2014.
