Lenovo has just announced their latest ThinkPad 11e series of notebooks. This line of notebooks is introduced in the event Florida Education Technology Conference ( FETC ), which is specially designed for educational activities at school. Now we know the primary purpose of these netbooks which is to offer students, educators and administrators an intuitive, easy-to-manage durable device. As most of the time, kids will be using this system; some of them might drop their netbooks accidentally, resulting to a serious damage such as hard drive failure or a broken display. That is the reason, Lenovo designed the unit with rugged features such as rubber bumpers, reinforced ports, and stronger hinges.
The ThinkPad 11e series comes in 2 different body designs. The first comes with a dimension of 11.6 inch screen support plus additional LED HD antiglare screen and another one generally has a Yoga mode which is completed with an attractive design with support for touch screen with its IPS technology. The Yoga ThinkPad11e will also feature 4 different positioning capabilities including laptop, tablet, tent, and stand mode. The top cover LEDs would point to wireless connectivity, laptop power or sleep mode, so that teachers will be able to keep track of consistent student activity. Lastly, Lenovo had equipped these two machines with long battery life plus to support the learning process.
