Looking for the best tablet for your kids? Then you might want to check this newest tablet from LeapFrog Enterprises dubbed as LeapFrog Epic educational tablet.
The company started developing digital devices for kids several years ago, and one of their tablets that I’ve featured here in my Tech blog is the LeapPad which was released 2011.
What’s new with this current version – is there are lots of new features where your child can explore by themselves from the applications, games and other useful materials that your child could learn by using the tablet.
Not only that, the device also used quad core processor making it more powerful compared to the previous versions so your child will not experience any delays or lag while using it.
This tablet for kids allows access to several unique customized learning modules that level up as the child progresses. Similar with other tablets for children, there is also a customizable interactive and playable home display accompanied with user-friendly parental controls so that your child will not be able to access or view any content that is not appropriate for their age.
The device has its own software called LeapFrog browser and LeapSearch if they want to look for something online which has built-in parental control features and has an option to unlock certain pages by the parents when they are on the right age to see it.
In addition, the LeapFrog Epic features a 7-inch multi-touch capacitive LCD display and it is equipped with 16GB internal storage with Android 4.4 Kitkat as its operating system. Other specifications include a 2MP front and back camera and more than 20 preinstalled apps. Sad to say this particular model cannot run LeapFrog cartridges.
The LeapFrog Epic tablet can be used for 6 hours for a single charge and it is designed specifically for kids aged 3 to 9 years old, and it can be purchase online starting next month for only $139.99.
