Intel, a well-known company in developing processor and high performance SSD’s has just announced its latest solid state drive, the DC S3510 Series.
This new line-up of SSD from Intel comes in different capacities ranging from 80GB to 1.6TB equipped with 16nm MLC NAND Flash memory chips with a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, and also features an MTBF of 2.0 million hours and built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption. The DC S3510 also boasts low typical active power (less than 5.6 watts), making it ideal for server or application upgrades.
In terms of read and write speeds, the SSD DC S3510 Series can deliver read/write speeds of up to 375/110 MB/s for the 80GB model, 475/135 MB/s for the 120GB model, 500/260 MB/s for the 240GB model, 500/440 MB/s for the 480GB model, 500/460 MB/s for the 800GB model, 500/440 MB/s for the 1.2TB model and 500/430 MB/s for the 1.6TB model.
