Huawei Mate S 128GB Variant
One of the key features of the Mate S is the Force Touch control which is only exclusive for the top of the line 128GB variant. Other important specifications of the Mate S includes 5.5” AMOLED Full HD screen, and it will be powered by Hisilicon Kirin 935 processor and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Force Touch was described by Apple as the “most significant new sensing capability” as it can actually tell if you are clicking using your thumb or other finger and will auto-adjusts the sensitivity level prior to the pressure needed to register a click. These sensitivity levels can also be customized according to your preference.
In my opinion, the Force Touch is likely related on how mechanical keyboard works using different mechanical keyboard switches as there are the black switches that needs to be pressed hard to register a click, where in on blue mx switches, you just need to press lightly and it will automatically registered, as so on. It is all about preference in terms of actuation of each taps on the keyboard or on the screen, for the Force Touch feature.
In addition, there is also 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage options, 13 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilizer, and 8 megapixel selfie camera. The Mate S has dual SIM support, and connectivity such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, and new technology such as Fingerprint Sense 2.0 with new improved features and functionality.
