Nvidia has launched its first Kepler based graphics card, the GTX 680. The card sports 1536 CUDA Cores, a 256-bit memory interface, a GPU clock of 1006MHz and a 2GB of GDDR5, and features dual-DVI, HDMI and Display Port outputs. Gainward GTX 680 2GB runs at reference clocks, i.e. 1006MHz GPU and 6008MHz (GDDR5) memory. There are no shader clocks. The difference between Fermi and Kepler architecture lies in the fact that Nvidia equipped Kepler with more shader units. However, these shaders are now slower and run at GPU clocks. So, instead of doubling shader clocks, Kepler comes with double the amount of shaders. Nvidia made sure to boost the GTX 680’s performance and with that in mind, the company not only doubled the GTX 580’s shader count, but tripled it. Cooler Master has announced its latest technology called Storm Sentinel Advance II Gaming Mouse. This high-tech mouse features the latest Avago sensor that is capable of over 8000 DPI sensitivity.  Cooler Master is well known for their cool system cases and cooling devices as well as gaming peripherals. The mouse also has an ultralow liftoff distance to provide gamers the ability to perform actions very quickly.

The mouse has a 128 kb onboard memory for storing profiles and customizable LED light system. It’s also a modular weight system and can be adjusted for (+/- 200 DPI) settings on the fly and a 125 Hz – 1000 Hz USB rate fine-tuning. Cooler Master also has an HD RX synthetic mesh mouse pad to go along with new mouse. Additional features include 8 programmable buttons, 9 virtual buttons via button combinations, and a customizable OLED logo. Pricing or availability is still unknown.

Biostar has launched its latest motherboard, the TA970XE series for AMD AM3+ CPUs of the Phenom II, Athlon II and FX ranges. The TA970XE board is based on AMD 970 chipset and sports ATX form-factor (305 x 225 mm) with the SB950 Southbridge. The Biostar TA970XE features four DDR3-2000 DIMM memory slots up to 32 GB dual-channel DDR3 800/1066/1333/1600/1866 MHz, latest UEFI BIOS which directly supports HDDs over 2 TB, 2x PCI slots, 2x PCI-E x1 2.0 slots, and 2x PCI-E x16 2.0 slots with full-featured support for the most powerful configurations of discrete cards in the ATI CrossFire X mode.

In terms of connectivity ports, it offers five storage devices of the SATA3 6 Gbit/s interface and supports SATA RAID 0,1,5,10 arrays, eSATA, FireWire IEEE 1394a, two USB 3.0 and eight USB 2.0. ,a 10/100/1000Mbit/s LAN controller (Realtek RTL8111E chip) and 8-channel HD audio codec (VIA VT1828S chip). The board uses a 5-phase voltage regulation and high-quality solid capacitors. No words regarding its release date and pricing so far.

MSI has announced its newest graphics card, the MSI R7970 Lightning. After announcing the iPad 3 earlier this month by the Apple CEO Tim Cook in an Apple event in San Francisco, California, latest reports say all pre-order of iPad 3 stock has been sold and that March 19 is the earliest ship date for online orders. “Customer response to the new iPad has been off the charts and the quantity available for pre-order has been purchased,” said Apple in a statement. “Customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date.

iPad 3 sports 9.7-inch Retina Display with 2048 x 1536 resolution, a A5X dual-core processor with quad-core graphics, LTE radio, a rear-facing 5 MP iSight camera with 5-element lens, IR filter and ISP, Full HD 1080p video recording which also supports face detection. In addition, there is a front facing VGA FaceTime camera as well that comes with voice detection.

As for networking, iPad 3 supports 4G LTE on Verizon and AT&T, and 3G for the rest of the world, but it also has hotspot capabilities. Regarding the battery, it still has 10 hours of battery life – but 9 hours of battery life on 4G. It will be 9.4mm thin, and will weigh 1.4lbs. There are several models available, the WiFi-only models cost $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for 64GB, while the models that support both WiFi and 4G cost  $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, and $829 for 64GB.

Again iPad 3 is already available for pre-order, and shipping started early this March (16^th to be speficic) in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia, while 30 other additional countries will have to wait for March 23rd.
