Corsair has unveiled its latest addition to the Obsidian PC case series, the Obsidian 450D mid-tower PC case. The Corsair Obsidian 450D features the same black anodized brushed aluminum fascia of the Obsidian series with focus on high-airflow and now with a large acrylic side panel window that provides a view of the internals.This mid-tower case supports ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX and even E-ATX motherboards.
It also features a front-placed I/O panel with 2x USB 3.0 and 2x audio ports, seven expansion slots, two 5.25-inch and three 3.5/2.5-inch combo bays in a modular hard drive cage with two additional 2.5-inch bays located behind the motherboard tray. In terms of cooling, the Corsair Obsidian 450D has three fans pre-installed, two front 140mm fans and one rear 120mm fan (It has room for up to eight fans) as well as support for extensive radiator compatibility including top 360/280mm one, 280/240mm front one, 240mm in the bottom and 120mm in the rear. The new Corsair Obsidian series 450D PC case should be available as of April with a suggested retail price of US $119.99.
