Acer has announced its latest technology called Acer Iconia. It is a dual-screen notebook that can also be used as a tablet. As you can see its keyboard is actually the secondary screen, both displays are 14-inch touchscreen with a HD resolution of 1,366 x 768. Both screens are made of ultra-thin Gorilla Glass, a “highly intuitive all-point multi-touch functionality”. Core specifications for this new technology includes an Intel Core i5 CPU, 320 GB HDD (up to 750GB), Acer Ring UI for better control on its virtual keyboard, HDMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity and latest USB 3.0 ports. The Acer Iconia weighs just six pounds and comes with 3G and Dolby Home Theater V3 support as well as Gesture Editor. Pricing and release date for this upcoming notebook is still unknown.
If you still remember in my previous post, I have posted before one of Asus netbook which is equipped with an Intel Atom N550 processor. On that time that model was really popular then. Recently HP has announced its version with an ATOM N5500 processor which is said to believe that HP will have its Intel Atom Dual Core N5500 with a clockspeed of 1.5 Ghz processor with a 512kb L2 cache and 667FSB, much faster than the previous version. Lenovo has announced its latest computer, known as the IdeaPad G455A-M320. This new notebook has a 14-inch LED-backlit display with 1366×768 resolution, and it is powered by an AMD Athlon II M320 2.1GHz dual core processor, 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4550 dedicated graphics card, 1GB of memory, and a 250 GB HDD. The laptop also features a DVD SuperMulti burner, a 5-in-1card reader, a built in 2Wx2 speakers, a 0.3 Megapixel webcam, and wi-fi connectivity. This new computer will be available in china for a price of 3999 Chinese Yuan which is approximately $586 in the United States.

This new laptop has a Genuine Microsoft Windows XP Home installed as its primary operating system, and features a 10.1 inch WXGA display screen with a resolution of 1366X768 and an aspect ratio of 16:9. LG has released its latest technology the new LG WIDEBOOK R590, and will now enter the markets in Europe. Dell has updated its Inspiron Mini 10 netbook by giving it the latest technology from Intel, the Atom N450 1.66GHz processor. The new Dell Inspiron Mini 10 will boast nearly 10 hours of battery life thanks to a larger, low-profile battery and the greater efficiency of the Intel Atom N450 chipset. The new Mini 10 still has the same screen size of 10.1-inch with a resolution of 1024×600/1366×768.
