JBL has released its own iPad dock called OnBeat Extreme (model JBLONBEATXTAM) speaker dock. It features an A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth profile support which is fully compatible with iOS devices. No need for cables anymore. The OnBeat Extreme is equipped with dual Atlas bass drivers and Ridge tweeters computer-optimized by DSP equalization (deliver 30W of power) and uses high-quality AAC codec for superior audio streaming. You can use it as a hands-free calling device (make or receive calls) with a built-in microphone with enhanced sound through digital sound processing (DSP) and echo cancellation.

PhotoFast Co., Ltd. a Japanese company has launched its latest technology for this year 2011 called iPADock. This docking station can support multiple gadgets like two iPads at once, four iPhones at once, or two different gadgets at the same time e.g., 2 iPhones and 1 iPad. The iPADock main features is to charge your iPad and iPhone and other gadgets including iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Classic. Extra features included are 7x USB ports, camera kit connector, and memory card that supports most of the memory card that is use by mobile devices. The iPADock has a dimension of 2.7” x 5.5” x 7.5” and will costs £74.99 ($116).

Altec Lansing has announced its latest technology called M202 Octiv Duo Dual-Dock Speaker/Charger System. I’ve just observed that most of the docking station that are launched are dual purpose, a docking station and at the same time a charger. Using this iPhone dock you can convert your iPhone into a land line phone and make calls in the old fashioned way using a handset with a cord. You just need to place your device on the docking station and it will work as a keypad for dialing the numbers at the same time it will charge automatically.
