Averatec has released its latest notebook, the Averatec N3400. This 13.3″ notebook weighs 3.8lbs, which is pretty light for this category of notebook. The ultra-slim, stylish notebook is also light on pocket with a starting price of $799.  This notebook is designed for students and business professionals for whom portability as well as productivity is main concern. Its outer cover seems to be made of aluminum, but the rest are ordinary materials.

This notebook was powered by an Intel T3400 2.16Ghz (a CULV would have been cooler), it has a resolution of 1280×1024 with 1.3MP webcam, Intel’s GMA 4500, 3GB DDR 2m 800Mhz (8GB max), 250GB hdd, DVD drive, 3x USB, 3.5mm audio in/out, Multi-format card reader and WiFi-N, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet.
