Apple has released its iOS 7.1.2 software update yesterday for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. This minor update focuses primarily on bug fixes as well as security improvements. It is available immediately for download as on over-the-air (OTA) download in Settings > General > Software Update, or it can be download and installed through iTunes.
It fixes a bug with data transfer issues using some of the 3rd party accessories like bar code scanners. There’s also a bug fix with data protection class of mail attachments which was reported under a month ago by security researcher Andreas Kurts. Aside from that, there is also an improvement with iBeacon connectivity and stability.
