This card reader will allow you to secure your important files by encrypting the data stored and will require the user to input his/her password. The USB Encryption Card Reader is compatible with SD, SDHC and MMC. It has separate sections (private and public) for your portable storage device. Every time you save/copy a file in the protected area it would ask for a password and the only way to retrieve the data you have stored is through the use of this card reader because the card reader itself is the one that encrypts the data, thus also it is the one responsible for the decryption of your files. You can buy this gadget for $23 a pop.
