Good news for Audio/Video Editors and Graphics Designers because Dell has announced a new 30-inch LCD monitor with an IPS panel called U3011. This latest monitor has a resolution of 2560 x 1600,  a contrast ratio of 1000:1, 0.2505mm pixel pitch, a 7ms refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors and a 370 cd/m2 rated brightness. The U3011 LCD monitor stand is height, tilt, and swivel adjustable. It also has several ports including 4 port USB hub, DVI-D, Single Display port, VGA input, and a memory card reader. Estimated price for this Dell U3011 30-inch LCD monitor is $1500.

The common problem of our parents who goes to office is where and who will take care of their babies, some will hire baby sitter, others will leave their babies to their relatives. Samsung NX100 mirrorless camera has been announced today. This latest Samsung camera has a 3-inch Amoled LCD display with a powerful camera of 14.6 megapixel APC-C CMOS sensor. The NX100 has an ISO range of 100 to 3200 that can be max out at 6400 using its boost mode function. The camera has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and can capture video at 720p HD in the H.264 format. Other features include SD / SDHC card slot, optional geo-tagging with GPS10 module and ‘Sound Picture’ mode that allows users to record audio when a photo is taken. Pricing and release dates are still unknown for Samsung NX100 mirrorless camera.

Nokia has announced 3 new handsets at Nokia World 2010 in London. The handsets announced are the E7, C7 and C6-01. The Nokia E7 has a 4-inch touchscreen display, 8-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 4 row QWERTY keyboard. The E7 can last up to nine hours of talk time and it comes in different colors:  dark gray, silver white and orange. Next is C7. It has a 3.5-inch AMOLED display, 8-megapixel camera, 9.5 hours of talk time and has integrated social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. This handset is best for business owners who use social networking to promote their products and services. Lastly, the C6-01 which is a variant of the C6 featuring a 3.2-inch AMOLED display with Clear Black display for improved outdoor visibility and now with 11.5 hours talk time. Acer has said to be working on its upcoming technology which is a dual screen laptop powered by a 2.67GHz Intel Core i5 processor more likely a Core i5-580M model. The said dual screen laptop has two 15-inch multi-touch displays (the lower screen can also display a virtual keyboard and trackpad). In my opinion using this laptop, typing was made easier like a touchscreen mobile phone, though you will still commit some typo errors especially if you are in a hurry.  The above image seems to run Microsoft Windows 7. As of now there are no words on pricing, and whether if it will be released in the market or not.

ARM has successfully launched its latest processor called Cortex A15 MPCore processor. This new technology has a clockspeed of up to 2.5 GHz and is said to be the successor of Cortex A9 that has a speed of 1GHz. For your information ARM-based chips are the one being using to give life to some handheld devices like smartphone, tablets and even televisions. The a15 was extended to octo core designs and is said to deliver 5 times faster results than the previous version. Other core features include up to 4MB L2 cache, multiple software environment support including full hardware virtualization, can handle TB of memory, and advanced memory correction. This latest ARM processor is compatible on most of the new handheld gadgets like Google’s Android, Adobe’s Flash, Linux and Windows.

Logitech has just unleashed a new set of gaming gadgets dubbed as F310, F510 and F710 controllers.  Both controllers looks like a PSP controller. They have a D-pad design and have a very good accuracy on all possible directions. It also features both XInput and DirectInput technology, which means it can be used for games that uses keypad. On the other hand the Rumble Gamepad F510 offers all the same features as the Gamepad F310, but this time it has vibration sensor that will vibrates while you are playing the game let’s say you hit, bump, crash, explosion effects and etc. The F510 also has special comfortable rubber grips and a soft-touch bottom case for long game periods.  Read more... Tired of seeing the same black colored DSLR cameras? Then you might want to check this latest gadget by Pentax , the K-r DSLR. This DLSR camera features a 3-inch LCD display with a 12.4 megapixel camera, capable of shooting HD video in 720p at 25fps which is available in different colors: red, black and white. Other core features of this latest camera include ISO up to 25600, 11 point autofocus system, IR support and a dual-power source design allowing users to use traditional AA batteries or a rechargeable Li-ion battery. The Pentax K-r DSLR camera is expected to come out this October with a retail price of $799.95 for the body only, additional $50 for its 18-55mm kit lens.

LG has announced its very first dual core processor for smartphones dubbed as Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor. This latest technology boasts a clock speed of 1GHz and is said to line up in the LG Optimus series. With this processor, mobile users can experience up to 2x faster web browsing, 5x faster gaming performance, and will deliver 1080p HD video playback, thanks to NVIDIA’s technology. We could expect the release of LG’s Optimus Series smartphones featuring the NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor in the fourth quarter of the year.
