A coworker just got these… and let me tell you, they are absolutely insane. I haven’t heard too many gaming headsets (I rock turtle beach x11′s at home, dre pros when I don’t want to talk, but those aren’t gaming, and i’ve tested Tritton AX Pro’s), but these probably give the best surround quality. Like I said, the Astro A30′s rocked the house compared to both of the ones I use. Just much more realistic sounding than the others. I heard a guy in COD using a submachine gun and i swear I heard every bullet in the clip hit the floor with a nice little PING PING PING! hahaha
