Latest Technology: Archos 5 250 GB Internet Media Tablet
Archos, the award-winning for its constant technology innovation and leadership in portable media players has announced its latest technology, the Archos 5 250 GB Internet Media Tablet. This latest device has a 250 GB capacity which can store up to 300 movies, 2.5 million photos, or 145,000 songs. It has a 4.8-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, and16 million colors. It can also support different video formats like: MPEG-4, WMV, and M-JPEG. At the same time it can support audio codec like: MP3, WMA, Protected WMA, WMA pro 5.1, and WAV. The Archos 5 can last up to 22 hours music and 7 hours video playback time on a single charge.

My wife bought me this product for my birthday. Initially I found the product to be a bit difficult to configure. It is my first internet tablet, and the closest thing I have to it is my PSP. After spending a deal of time on the internet and back and forth emails with Archos support, I got the GPS to work. The GPS works very well when it is hooked up to the FM transmitter accessory. The only real issue I have with this device is the battery life and how long it takes to charge. Otherwise the device is great.
