Philips is about to launch its latest Google Android powered smartphone, the Philips V808. The Philips V808 is their second Android powered handset and it comes with a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and microSD card support up to 8GB. Other techie features of this android device includes widget support and multimedia player including video and audio. The Philips V808 has a 1000 mAh battery which will likely last for several hours, and has a GSM/GPRS/EDGE for its connectivity. There is no word on pricing or availability, or any details when we might see the Philips V808 is the US and Europe.

Panasonic has announced its latest and most compact Micro Four Thirds camera, the Lumix GF1. The GF1 offers a 12-megapixel resolution with a 3-inch LCD viewfinder and an integrated flash.  The camera stores images to SD/SDHC cards,  and features optical image stabilization and a dust cleaning system to keep the sensor clear. This latest camera has 35% less volume and 26% lighter than the former G1. The GF1 has new techie features such as built-in flash and good focus speed. Micro Four Thirds is an extension of the Four Thirds standard that Olympus, Leica and Panasonic have used for their recent DSLRs. To mount existing Four Thirds lenses on this new compact Four Thirds camera there is an adapter ring available.

RIM has announced its latest device, The BlackBerry Bold 9700, which will replace the massively popular BlackBerry Bold 9000. This latest handset features a 2.44 inch HVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 360, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and it features a similar 35 key QWERTY keyboard to the previous model. The BlackBerry Bold 9700 architecture is slightly smaller than the previous model, measuring 4.29 inches tall by 2.36 inches wide by 0.56 inches thick and it weighs in at 4.3 ounces.

It also offers a 250cd/m2 brightness, a 2ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio (20000:1 in ACR), and offers several inputs, the usual D-SUB, DVI-D (HDCP), as well as HDMI. Aside from that this techie monitor has an amazing feature, its eco panel, which decreases power consumption up to 41.5% when the ECO button is switched on.

It has a 3 inch display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels, an external 1.1 inch display, 5 megapixel camera with face and smile detection, and a mobile Bravia engine for smooth and crisp video playback. In addition, it is also a waterproof cell phone which is available in 3 amazing colors. Though these three colors is only available in Japan.

It can also connect with other Sony products like the PSP, PS3, Walkman, etc so you can easily transfer files to and from the phone and vice-versa. Other features include Pedometer and the Japanese favorite Mobile TV and Bluetooth.

Motorola has announced their latest android device, the Motorola Droid, which looks like a T-Mobile G1 crossed with a Sony Ericsson Xperia. This Latest Technology from Motorala has a QWERTY keypad which is expected to use a TI OMAP3430 processor, similar to that found in the iPhone 3GS. It’s running Android 2.0, with a major makeover for Google’s OS. The Motorola Droid is destined for Verizon in the US next month, but there’s absolutely no word on a wider launch just yet.

LG has rolled out its latest mobile device, the LG KP500 Cookie. This latest device has a large touchscreen display that’s easy and fun to use. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera, a media player, an FM radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a memory card slot.

Other great features is that when the phone is held horizontally, the landscape QWERTY keyboard is enabled which allows the user to type just like they would if they had a keyboard on hand. To demonstrate this phones ability to entertain, many of the games rely on turning, shifting, or flipping the phone to maneuver the game environment.
