Buffalo Technology SuperSpeed USB3.0 external hard drive

Buffalo Technology, a global leader in the design, development and manufacturing of storage and wireless networking, has recently announced the very first SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external hard disk drive to the market, which is recently showcased at the USB 3.0 Intel Developer Forum 9 (IDF) in San Francisco on 22nd September, 2009.

The DriveStation HD-HXU3, which is available in different capacities like 1.0TB, 1.5TB and 2.0TB, offers a SuperSpeed transfer speeds of up to 125MB/s. It is also backwards-compatible and will work with all USB 2.0 enabled computers and notebooks.Aside from that, the company also launched the Buffalo USB 3.0 controller, IFC-PCIE2U3, that will provide users with the ability to take advantage of this new SuperSpeed, USB 3.0 technology. Availability should start for Europe, Middle East and Africa during Q4 2009.

MSI has announced its latest All-In-One Desktop PC, the Wind Top AE1900-01SUS. This latest computer features an 18.5inch Touchscreen LCD, powered by an Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz. It has a 1GB memory, 160GB storage capacity, an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with up to 228MB Shared Graphics Memory. Dell has introduced its latest 15″ gaming laptop, the Alienware M15x . The company claims that it is the fastest 15-inch gaming machine out there.This newest powerful laptop has a screen size of 15.6-inch which included a 1600×900 or 1920×1080 Full HD resolution. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 1.6GHz (2.8 GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB Cache) processor. The maxed-out Intel Core i7 920XM 2.0GHz (3.2GHz Turbo Mode, 8MB Cache) in which you need to add another $950. It is also equipped with a powerful graphics card, the GTX 260M GPU together with a whooping memory up to 8GB DDR3 RAM and up to 250GB 5400RPM hard drive or 256GB SSD. The M15x is now available for purchase. Prices start at $1,499. It is available in three colors – Cosmic Black, Lunar Shadow and Nebula Red.

Seagate has released its latest computer device, the Seagate Barracuda XT 2TB SATA 6.0Gbps hard-drive. This new HDD was  announced the world’s first SATA 6Gbps hard-drive that is aimed to deal with high-performance workstations.  The Barracuda XT 2TB offer a 4-platter 368 Gb/square inch aerial density which is sure to please storage-hungry applications and spins at 7,200rpm and is the first to feature the faster-speed SATA interface, though it’s also backward compatible with SATA 3.0Gbps and 1.5Gbps.

Samsung and Sprint has unveiled their latest eco-friendly device, the Samsung Reclaim Phone. This latest technology is made out of bio-plastic materials and is 80% recyclable.Samsung Reclaim is available now via Bell and it packs a 3.5mm headset jack, full HTML web browsing, digital audio player, Sprint Navigation with Search, GPS-enabled directions, 2MP camera with 3x digital zoom and camcorder, and expandable memory up to 32GB. But more than just sporting an eco-green attitude, the Reclaim is a very functional messaging/multimedia phone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and it runs on Sprint’s fast 3G network (with access to its Sprint TV and Music Store services). The Samsung Reclaim will be available in Earth Green and Ocean Blue Color.
