Magellan RoadMate 1470 is a 4.7 inch widescreen portable GPS navigator, a new gadget featuring “OneTouch favorites menu”. It has a number of excellent features including the ability to personalize icons, set multiple destinations and access the AAA Tourbook and Roadside Assistance menu. This latest gadget is very easy to use, you just need to turn on the Magellan 1470 and you will see five options available to you: Go To, View Map, Local Options, Settings, and Favorites Menu.

Magellan RoadMate 1470 includes maps of United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico with 6 million points of interest, RoadMate 1470 also features multi-destination routing, highway lane assist, and Text-to-Speech (spoken street names). Because of its large display, the Magellan RoadMate 1470 is very  easy to use, that’s also the reason why it’s one of the greatest GPS devices. It automatically brightens at night so you can always see where you are going and if you add Traffic Link you’ll get live traffic updates as well. It comes with a windshield mount and power adapter and there is also software and a USB cable for hooking it up to your computer. This gadget has a very thin design at just 0.7 inches thick and it only weighs 2 pounds.
