Plantronics has released their latest headset, The Plantronics Audio 995 with the latest technology wireless connectivity, This headset doesn’t use bluetooth as medium rather a  2.4GHz system which requires a USB dongle. The range offered by Bluetooth is quite similar with this one, but with the kind of technology they use a distance around 40 feet is supported.

The Plantronics Audio 995 Wireless Stereo Headset is also equipped with noise canceling technology known as Fast Mic Mute. This technology quickly mutes audio when the bang is increased. This headset also includes control of volume, where in you can play and skip tracks in iTunes and Windows Media Player by using the buttons on the headset itself.
